TENDER DESCRIPTION

The construction measure involves a prison facility that is protected as a historic monument and dates from around 1900. As part of the completion of a new building in 2010 on the JVA Wittlich site, this building was taken out of service. Due to the increased need for detention places in the meantime, the building is to be renovated and revitalised again. The Technical commissioning management and the technical monitoring accompany the building services and safety-related systems of buildings 01 (Alte Männeranstalt, existing building), 02 (new gatehouse building, partial new build) and 04 (new visitor centre, new build) through all project phases from LPH 3 to LPH 9. The construction costs are currently approximately (as of 04.09.2025): Old men’s prison 01 - 60.00 million EUR Gatehouse building 02 - 1.94 million EUR Visitor centre 04 - 9.80 million EUR The buildings are currently located within the walled security area.
