TENDER DESCRIPTION

Kolping-Schulwerk GmbH intends to carry out comprehensive renovation and forward-looking development of the Adolph Kolping Educational and School Centre at the Goerdelerstraße 3 site in Würzburg-Heuchelhof. The building complex comprises the Adolph-Kolping vocational school – building B, a private vocational school for special-needs education, which has developed into the largest supporting vocational school with the learning disability focus in Lower Franconia. The project also includes the Kolping Education Centre – building A, with accommodation for unaccompanied minor foreign nationals, and in building C the Kolping secondary modern school with a day centre for special needs education. The facility supports young people with special educational needs on their path into training and employment, thereby fulfilling an important social and education-policy task. The subject of the measure is the energy, functional and structural renovation of the existing educational and school centre with a net floor area of approximately 2,900 m² and a gross volume of approximately 23,000 m³.
