TENDER DESCRIPTION

Kolping-Schulwerk GmbH intends to carry out comprehensive renovation and forward-looking further development of the Adolph Kolping Education and School Centre at the Goerdelerstraße 3 site in Würzburg-Heuchelhof. The building complex comprises the Adolph-Kolping vocational school – Building B, a private vocational school for special-needs educational support, which has developed into the largest support vocational school with the learning support focus in Lower Franconia. The project also includes the Kolping Education Centre – Building A, providing accommodation for unaccompanied minor foreigners, and in Building C the Kolping Secondary School with an on-site special educational support day care facility. The institution supports young people with special support needs on their path into training and employment and thus performs an important social and education-policy role. The purpose of the measure is the energy, functional and structural renovation of the existing education and school centre with a net floor area of approximately 2,900 m² and a gross volume of approximately 23,000 m³.
