TENDER DESCRIPTION

Kolping-Schulwerk GmbH intends to comprehensively renovate and develop further in a future-oriented way the Adolph Kolping Education and School Centre at the site Goerdelerstraße 3 in Würzburg-Heuchelhof. The building complex includes the Adolph-Kolping vocational school – Building B, a private vocational school for special-needs support, which has developed into the largest support vocational school with the learning focus in Lower Franconia. The project also includes the Kolping Education Centre – Building A with accommodation for unaccompanied minor foreign nationals, and in Building C the Kolping lower secondary school (Mittelschule) with a therapeutic day-care centre. The facility supports young people with special support needs on their way into training and employment and thereby fulfills an important social and education policy task. The subject of the measure is the energy-related, functional and structural renovation of the existing education and school centre with a net floor area of approximately 2,900 m² and a gross volume of approximately 23,000 m³.
