TENDER DESCRIPTION

Kolping-Schulwerk GmbH intends to carry out comprehensive renovation and future-oriented further development of the Adolph Kolping Education and School Centre at the site Goerdelerstraße 3 in Würzburg-Heuchelhof. The building complex comprises the Adolph-Kolping Vocational School – Building B, a private vocational school for special-needs support, which has developed into the largest support vocational school with the learning-focus special needs category in Lower Franconia. The project also includes the Kolping Education Centre – Building A with accommodation for unaccompanied minors, and in Building C the Kolping Secondary School (Mittelschule) with a day care facility for special needs (Heilpädagogische Tagesstätte). The facility supports young people with special support needs on their path into training and employment and thus fulfills an important social and education-policy role.
