TENDER DESCRIPTION
For the station forecourt building of Kaiserslautern main railway station, comprehensive modernisation is planned to ensure the building fabric in the long term and to improve the quality of use. Due to numerous structural and technical defects, in particular the façade, load-bearing structure, roof surfaces and interior areas are to be repaired and moisture and corrosion damage eliminated. In addition, the project includes modernisation of the building services, energy-efficient optimisation of the building, replacement of windows, doors and lighting, as well as measures to improve barrier-free accessibility and amenity and quality of stay. In addition, waiting and rental areas are to be enhanced both functionally and aesthetically to ensure sustainable use and long-term letting capacity.
