General quality and workmanship requirements: Built-in kitchens As worktops, mineral material panels shall be used, thickness d=20 mm, reference product: Dekton Bromo or glw. For visible front and side panels of the cabinet carcass parts, solid wood veneer panels made of oak, 20 mm, surface-finished, matte, shall be used. For interior insert shelves and partition walls, furniture construction panels shall be used, on all sides with an HPL laminate surface, single-colour, to be sourced from the manufacturer’s standard palette after template/colour sampling. V20 or V100 bonded with heat-resistant (for cooking) adhesive. Fronts with applied foils are not permitted due to low mechanical loadability. Care must be taken to ensure clean workmanship of the cut edges and edge banding, the so-called “thick” or “end” edge (minimum thickness 0.8 mm, better 1.5 mm) (continuous “thick” or “end” edge all around). The same applies to drawers. All metal parts used for fittings, handles, pull-outs, etc. must be made of stainless steel and approved and designed for the project area for heavy loads.
