Renovation of the sports and multi-purpose hall, roof of the swimming hall The existing multi-purpose hall (swimming and sports hall) is a central public facility for school and club sports as well as for other community uses in the municipality. It was built in 1977. The hall is regularly used by several local clubs, such as the gymnastics, cycling, football, model sports and music clubs, etc., as well as for school sports, and it is booked on all days of the week (Monday–Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.). This results in a high quantitative need for the permanent usability of the hall as an important part of the municipal infrastructure. During ongoing use, significant structural and technical deficiencies have been identified, making renovation absolutely necessary. In particular, the current fire protection regulatory requirements are not met. Additional requirements for BMA and ELA are in place. This poses a substantial risk for the safe operation of the hall and already limits its use possibilities today.
