Renovation of the Sports and Multi-Purpose Hall, roof of the swimming pool hall The existing multi-purpose hall (swimming and sports hall) is a central public facility for school and club sports as well as for other community uses in the municipality. It was built in 1977. The hall is regularly used by several local clubs, such as the gymnastics, cycling sports, football, model sports and music club, etc., as well as for school sports, and is booked on all days of the week (Monday to Friday from 7.00 to 23.30). This results in a high quantitative need for the hall to be usable on a permanent basis as an important part of municipal infrastructure. As part of ongoing use, significant structural and technical deficiencies have become apparent, making renovation essential. In particular, the current fire protection regulatory requirements are not met. Additional requirements for fire alarm systems (BMA) and voice alarm systems (ELA) are in place. This poses a substantial risk to the safe operation of the hall and already restricts its use options today.
