TENDER DESCRIPTION

Rehabilitation of a partial section of the South Quay in Emden Inland Port. During a structural inspection it was found that the western section of the South Quay requires rehabilitation. For this reason, a new sheet-pile wall is to be constructed in front of the existing quay bank protection for this area. The construction method is to be based on the section of the South Quay adjoining to the east, which was also strengthened in the years 1978-1980 by means of a sheet-pile wall mounted in front. In addition, adjustment and renewal of the surface pavement in the terminal area are planned.
