TENDER DESCRIPTION

The listed Gothic cathedral St. Nikolaus in Stendal is a high-quality testimony to Hanseatic northern German building culture, for which the preservation of a large stock of original stained-glass leaded windows is characteristic as a distinctive feature. All building measures planned in the 3rd BA on the walls and ceilings of the nave and the south transept including side chapels, as well as, after the replacement of the floor coverings in the nave and transept, require, after completion, the final construction cleaning. Erecting the scaffolding and cleaning after dismantling is carried out section-by-section, each time after completion of the finished construction section. The renovation of the High Choir is at present not planned; however, cleaning must be carried out as well, since the area is in use. The services being tendered include a triple cleaning of the cathedral, each time after the construction sections. The final construction cleanings are planned for June 2027, December 2027 and August 2028.
