TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the invitation to tender is construction works for the refurbishment and modernization of the platform canopy roofs at tracks 4/5 and 8/9 in the main station of Regensburg. The measure includes corrosion protection and structural steel works, roof waterproofing and timber construction works, replacement of roof drainage, adaptation of lighting systems, as well as extensive dismantling, hazardous-material remediation and disposal services under ongoing rail operations. The key services include the complete replacement of the roof waterproofing on an area of approx. 2,900 m², including approx. 875 m² of tapered insulation, approx. 585 m² of tapered slope plates, approx. 2,000 m² of boarding sheathing, and approx. 1,810 m² of aluminium soffit ceilings. In addition, extensive timber construction works are to be carried out, involving replacement of a total of 309 rafters and 309 ridge timbers, and replacement of approx. 4,820 m of roof battens.
