TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of this invitation to tender comprises construction works for the repair and modernisation of the platform canopies at tracks 4/5 and 8/9 at Regensburg Main Station. The measure includes corrosion protection and structural steelworks, roof waterproofing and timber construction works, renewal of roof drainage, adaptation of the lighting systems, as well as extensive dismantling, hazardous substance remediation and disposal services during ongoing rail operations. The essential services include complete renewal of the roof waterproofing over an area of approx. 2,900 m², including approx. 875 m² of tapered insulation, approx. 585 m² of crimp/angle fall plates, approx. 2,000 m² of board sheathing, and approx. 1,810 m² of aluminium soffit ceilings (undersides). In addition, extensive timber construction works are to be carried out, including replacement of a total of 309 rafters and 309 ridge timbers (keilhölzer), and renewal of approx. 4,820 m of roof battens.
