TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Würzenbachstrasse is a municipal road of 2nd class and is in need of renovation. Furthermore, the Wendeschlaufe Würzenbach bus stop (served by line 8 with double-articulated buses) is not accessible without obstacles. A completed construction project for the bus stop was already developed as part of Lot 3 of the disability access planning (BehiG planning). Furthermore, according to the current plan, a lake energy pipeline is to supply the quarter with sustainable energy through the Würzenbachstrasse. This project is intended to collect and coordinate these and any further needs for design and implementation. For flood safety, a terrain lowering is planned at the eastern end of the perimeter. The necessary engineering works for this (road adaptation, adjustment of terminations, terrain lowering) are also part of the contract. Apart from the fully developed construction project of the Wendeschlaufe, no preliminary plans are available. It is a typical road renovation project with a focus on sustainability and in coordination with neighboring projects.
