Short description Sanitary: Conversion of the sanitary installations. As part of the renovation and change of use of the Kunsthalle Kiel, the supply networks for drinking water and foul wastewater in the entire building will be replaced. The existing installations including sanitary fixtures and below-ground pipelines will be replaced. For supplying plant engineering KG430 (feeding the steam-air humidifiers), a contract works (VE) plant is planned in the Central Technical Area 01, UG.043. All rainwater pipes located indoors will be replaced up to connection to the below-ground pipeline above the base slab. In the inner courtyard area, 2 new emergency overflow drains with free discharge, with piping run through the façade to an open area, are planned in the access area, heating UG.042.
