TENDER DESCRIPTION

Tampere City’s Procurement Services is carrying out a tendering procedure for a service concerning the main and architectural design for the Sara Hildén Art Museum, on behalf of the Kiinteistöt, tilat ja asuntopolitiikka (Properties, Facilities and Housing Policy) service group in accordance with the invitation to tender and its attachments. The Sara Hildén Art Museum is an art museum maintained by the City of Tampere, where a large collection of international and Finnish modern art and contemporary art owned by the Sara Hildén Foundation has been permanently housed. The art museum organizes several exhibitions every year. The planned future renovation and extension of the art museum in Särkänniemi will make it possible to provide up-to-date, exhibition-technically functional and sufficiently sized premises for collection and exhibition operations, art logistics, and visitor services. The assignment includes the architectural and main design tasks from the needs assessment phase through to the end of the warranty period.
