TENDER DESCRIPTION
Zircaloy 4 (Zy-4) is a nuclear-interest material, within the meaning defined in Law 111/1996 with subsequent amendments and additions, Annex no. 2, point 13. The Sarma din Zircaloy-4 that is the subject of this procurement is used within the FCN Pitesti Branch in the process of manufacturing nuclear fuel Bundles (FC), for the execution of the part “saddles”. The technical characteristics and the requirements that the products must meet are specified in the Specification of Requirements F-SI-CAIET-CS-00398-19-01-26 Edition 2/11.05.2026, in the Procurement Specification S.P.-2.10, ed. 3 - Annex A to the Specification of Requirements, in the AECL Technical Specification: TS-XX-37353-2 rev.2/1978 and in the AECL Change Sheet No. 1/30.08.1996 – Annex B to the Specification of Requirements, and in the Coil support sketch - Annex C to the Specification of Requirements.
