TENDER DESCRIPTION

1. Subject of the tendered service: As part of the renovation of the Nuremberg Crematorium, West Cemetery, it is necessary to extend the technical building structurally. The existing building of the crematorium will be renovated and rebuilt, and extended with the same eaves height. The extension takes place in a westerly direction, so as to be as far away as possible from the historic listed existing building parts. This tender includes scaffolding works. An important boundary condition to be mentioned is that the execution of the project is divided into a total of five construction phases and the conversion/renovation as well as the extension must take place DURING ONGOING OPERATIONS. The measure includes phased construction services, which partly have complex interfaces to the technical equipment and to the plant engineering of the cremation facilities. A large part of the trades and service areas repeat in the individual construction phases. 1.
