TENDER DESCRIPTION
1. Subject of the tendered service: As part of the renovation of the Nuremberg Crematorium, Westfriedhof, it is necessary to structurally expand the technical building. The existing building of the crematorium will be renovated and converted, as well as extended with the same eaves height. The extension is carried out westward, so as to be as far away as possible from the historic listed existing building parts. This tender covers scaffolding works. An important condition to mention is that the implementation of the project is divided into a total of five construction phases and the conversion/renovation as well as the extension must take place DURING OPERATION. The measure includes phased construction services, which in part have complex interfaces to the technical equipment and the plant engineering of the cremation systems. A large part of the trades and service areas is repeated in the individual construction phases.
