TENDER DESCRIPTION

1. Purpose of the contract to be awarded: As part of the refurbishment of the Crematorium Nürnberg, Westfriedhof, it is necessary to extend the technical building structurally. In doing so, the existing crematorium building is to be refurbished and converted, and extended with the same eave height. The extension is carried out in a western direction so that it is as far away as possible from the historical listed existing building components. This tender covers steel structure works. An important boundary condition to be stated is that the execution of the project is divided into a total of five construction phases and that the conversion/refurbishment and extension must be carried out IN CONTINUING OPERATION. The measure includes construction services in sections, which in part present complex interfaces with the technical equipment and with the plant engineering for the cremation facilities.
