TENDER DESCRIPTION

For a detailed description, please refer to Annex 1a “Service description Lot Environmental planning” and/or 1b “Service description Lot Engineering structure”! The objective of the planning is the demolition of the existing pumping station and the construction of a modern pumping station which meets the current requirements regarding flood protection and enables economical and energy-efficient operation. In addition, the requirements of the Water Framework Directive regarding continuity must be complied with and the nature conservation-related requirements, in particular with regard to fish-friendly pump technology and the surrounding protected areas, must be included. The pumping station is to be newly built in a way that is as land- and resource-saving as possible; to this end, planning should, where possible, make use of recycled construction materials and renewable raw materials. For this purpose, when determining the preferred option, life-cycle costs and climate impact must be taken into account; in particular, CO2 shadow prices are to be determined.
