TENDER DESCRIPTION
A detailed description can be found in Annex 1a "Description of services, Lot Environmental planning" and Annex 1b "Description of services, Lot Engineering structure"! The objective of the planning is the demolition of the existing siphon works and the construction of a modern siphon works that meets current flood protection requirements and enables economical and energy-efficient operation. In addition, the requirements of the Water Framework Directive regarding continuity must be complied with and the nature conservation-related requirements, in particular with regard to fish-friendly pump technology and the surrounding protected areas, must be included. The siphon works is to be newly built in a way that is as land area- and resource-conserving as possible; for this purpose, planning should, where possible, include the use of recycled construction materials and renewable raw materials. For determining the preferred variant, life-cycle costs and climate impacts must be taken into account; in particular, CO2 shadow prices are to be determined.
