TENDER DESCRIPTION

Provision of winter maintenance services, in particular clearing ice and snow, grit/sand covering of surfaces in case of slippery conditions with sand or crushed gravel on courtyard and footpath areas in accordance with the attached schedules of areas, subject to mandatory compliance with the valid footpath cleaning by-law of the City of Mannheim for 57 municipal school sites distributed across the City of Mannheim. The sites are divided into 7 lots and are managed by BBS Bau- und Betriebsservice GmbH. The contract term is 2 years (2 winter maintenance seasons, with the option to extend for one additional season for lots 1, 2 and 3). The contract term for lots 4-7 is exclusively 2 years without any option to extend. The winter maintenance season begins on 01.11. and ends on 31.03. of each year. The objective is to establish and maintain a traffic-safe condition at the sites.
