TENDER DESCRIPTION

The restoration of all attic storeys is divided into 6 construction phases. The protective measures for cultural property specified in the tender relate to the construction phases Northern Corps de Logis (4th construction phase) and Heinrichflügel (5th construction phase). The attic space is heavily to very heavily contaminated due to various highly toxic wood preservatives (PCP, DDT). The working areas inside the Northern Corps de Logis and the Heinrichflügel are considered to be uncontaminated. The protective measures for the cultural property, such as wall, ceiling and vault areas with plasterwork and carvings, fireplaces, windows and doors include all protective measures in the form of covering work using suitable non-woven fabric, partly with wood-based material boards, enclosures using non-woven fabric and armoured cardboard, padding and supports to protect against dust and mechanical damage during the roof refurbishment work.
