The contract timeline is as follows:

The dynamic system has an initial duration of 1 year, commencing on September 12, 2023, which is the date of its publication in the contracting profile. This duration can be extended annually, up to a maximum total of 4 years. Specific service contracts awarded within this dynamic system will have their own durations, which will be detailed in their respective documentation and included in the invitation to tender. In the event that a new contract is not formalized by the expiration of the current one due to unforeseen circumstances, the system's validity may be extended for a maximum of 9 months to ensure continuity.

The core scope of work for this tender involves two main categories of services for the UPC:

1. Virtualization of training content: This service focuses on creating an asynchronous online training environment. Key activities include project management, elaborating content scripts (using both contractor's and UPC's materials), pedagogical design and adaptation of content, selecting and incorporating images, content layout and editing, recording and editing videos and voiceovers when necessary, linguistic review with a gender perspective, developing questionnaires and practical activities, configuring a continuous evaluation system, generating animations, practical demonstrations, interactive simulations, and structuring and incorporating learning resources (links, videos, files). The contractor is also responsible for building modules, uploading all developed content to the UPC's Moodle platform, and providing downloadable PDF content. The training activities will be in Catalan.

2. English language training services: This involves synchronous online English language training for the administration and service staff of the UPC. Training is provided via videoconference or other methods enabling group or individual connections with a teacher. The courses are offered across all levels (A, B, and C) and cover topics such as oral expression and pronunciation, text writing, public presentations, and conversations in English.

The contractor must provide sufficient technical, material, qualitative, and personnel resources to perform these tasks. Additionally, the contractor must designate a responsible person for contract management and quality assurance. Key deliverables include editable files of all virtualized content in SCORM format and other files used for final composition, with the contractor uploading these to the Moodle platform and configuring the virtual classroom. The contractor will also generate a script for the virtualization activities, covering planning, pedagogical treatment of content, estimated student dedication hours and screen numbers, methodology and resources, graphic design proposals, and an evaluation model.
