TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the public contract is the additional sorting of slag using the technology of the selected supplier for the purpose of (a) increasing the economic yield, (b) improving the parameters of the slag for its subsequent use and (c) obtaining all components suitable for subsequent material use. The contracting authority operates the Waste-to-Energy Facility Brno (“ZEVO”), the operation of which, among other things, generates slag recorded as waste under catalogue number 19 01 12 – other ash and slag not specified under catalogue number 19 01 11 (“slag”). The contracting authority has its own technology for sorting slag, in which the slag is pre-sorted using a method that separates a portion of ferrous metals, a portion of non-ferrous metals, and treated (coarse and fine) slag. The fine slag is subsequently handed over to the supplier for further sorting on the supplier’s sorting technology in accordance with the contracting authority’s operating and other requirements.
