TENDER DESCRIPTION

Although insurance for non-contractual liability of Public Administrations is not legally mandatory, it is nonetheless advisable to arrange for it, since the signature of the corresponding policy guarantees that the economic consequences which, in accordance with the legal system in force, throughout the term of the contract may correspond to the Corporation, as a legal entity governed by public law, in the exercise of its powers, whether directly, indirectly or jointly, for material damage, personal injury, and the resulting economic losses involuntarily caused to third parties, can be dealt with. Traditionally, the specification document (pliego de prescripciones técnicas) for this contract has included, as a complementary measure, insurance for civil/property liability, of a professional or employer/“patronal” nature. Previously, this contract was tendered under file ref. no. 946/2022, ref. C-2022/029. The contract was formalised on 10 October 2022. Its expiry, once it has been extended by its maximum duration term established, will take place on 10 October 2026.
