TENDER DESCRIPTION

For the effective fulfilment of the responsibilities required by current legislation, it is considered necessary to have appropriate technical and organisational instruments, including information systems that enable integrated and coordinated management of risks, forest fires and the resources available. In addition, for the effective fulfilment of legal mandates, it is necessary to undertake the design, development and implementation of newly created information management systems, aimed at providing support for inter-administrative coordination, risk management, monitoring of resources and operational decision-making, which constitutes the subject matter of this contract. In accordance with Royal Decree 503/2024 of 21 May, these functions correspond to the Directorate General for Biodiversity, Forests and Desertification, which does not have sufficient human or material resources to carry out, with its own resources, the work covered by the file, nor is it currently possible to expand those resources.
