TENDER DESCRIPTION

The healthcare service consisting of neurorhabilitation treatment for users of the Servicio Extremeño de Salud affected by acquired brain injury, acute spinal cord injury and other non-degenerative acquired neurological injuries. The service provision shall include all treatments and means necessary to achieve the maximum functional capacity of the person, through recovery of their physical, cognitive, emotional, social and work-related abilities, as well as care for their basic needs (food, hygiene, sleep). The assistance must also include care for the users’ family members, always focused on therapeutic instructions and on optimizing the patient’s treatment (patient management, health education, emotional support). The care programme that guarantees compliance with the purpose of the contract must include essential multidisciplinary treatment such as physiotherapy, speech therapy, neuropsychology, occupational therapy and specialized medical assistance with the aim of achieving the greatest possible recovery, both physical and functional, for the person.
