The contract has a total initial duration of 12 months. It is eligible for extensions, which can last for 48 months. Therefore, the maximum duration of the contract, including any extensions, is 60 months.

Regarding milestones and phases:

• The contract will be awarded within a maximum of two months from the opening of proposals.
• The contract is formalized in an administrative document, which cannot occur until fifteen working days after the award notification is sent to bidders.
• The computation of the execution period for the contract begins the day after its formalization, unless specified otherwise in section 7 of the contract's characteristics table.
• Partial deadlines may be set in the approved work program and are considered an integral part of the contract.
• The contractor is required to submit a work program for approval, detailing necessary tasks and proposing partial deadlines, within the period indicated in section 15 of the contract's characteristics table, calculated from the contract's formalization.
• The contract is considered fulfilled when the contractor has completed the entire scope of work to the administration's satisfaction, after the total validity period has passed.
• The reception of the service will occur within one month after the delivery or completion of the contract's object.

The core scope of work for this tender is an integral transport and distribution service for the Hospital Universitario Infanta Leonor and its dependent centers.

The key services and deliverables include:

• Ordinary Transport of Warehouse and Pharmacy Material: This involves the transport of various fungible materials from the Central Warehouse of Hospital Universitario Infanta Leonor to its dependent centers, and the transport of medicines and other materials from the Pharmacy of Hospital Virgen de la Torre to its dependent centers. It also includes the collection of empty containers, cages, and pallets used for material transport, and the collection of return material to the central warehouse or the Hospital Virgen de la Torre pharmacy. This service operates Monday to Friday from 7:45 am to 2:00 pm.
• Ordinary Transport of Biological Samples and Blood Samples.
• Urgent and On-Demand Transport of Biological Samples, Blood Bags, and Small Packages: This service is available 24 hours a day, every day, including holidays. It requires a response time not exceeding 45 minutes for urgent requests and involves collecting samples from Hospital Virgen de la Torre for delivery to the laboratory of Hospital Universitario Infanta Leonor.
• Ordinary Transport of Small Packages, Clothing, and Other Items: This includes daily transport of small packages, work clothes, and other belongings between centers and to other official centers.
• Transport of Methadone Hydrochloride and Buprenorphine: This entails the transport of these specific medications to various Addiction Treatment Centers (CTAs/CAIDs) and the collection, transport, and delivery of empty glass containers from these centers to the Hospital Universitario Infanta Leonor Pharmacy.
• Transport of other materials, belongings, documentation, and objects as entrusted by the Hospital Universitario Infanta Leonor management, with appropriate origin and destination, within the indicated hours.
• Monthly reports detailing the number of services performed, time spent, and incidents detected.
