TENDER DESCRIPTION

The El Paso City Council is responsible for meeting the needs for sports promotion, since there is municipal authority, in accordance with the provisions of Article 25 of Law 7/1985 of 2 April, Regulating the Bases of Local Government, as worded by Law 27/2013 of 27 April, of 27 April December, on rationalisation and sustainability of local government administration, which establishes that the municipality has its own powers in the promotion of sport and sports facilities and in the use of leisure time.
 Also, there is an agreement signed between the City Council and the Hon. Island Council of La Palma in relation to the Basic Sports Promotion Plan (PDB) La Palma, which aims to continue with sports promotion activities in the municipality of El Paso, by encouraging the initiation of training and sports activities among the school-age population.
