TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the procurement is a comprehensive bike-sharing service for use by the City of Tampere and the municipality of Pirkkala. The bike-sharing service that is the subject of the procurement includes the delivery and maintenance of the comprehensive service for the duration of the contract period. In addition to the delivery of the bicycles and docking station structures, the service to be procured includes their servicing and maintenance, relocating the bicycles from one station to another, the transfer of the bicycles and any station structures to storage and storage during the months when the bike-sharing service is not in use, the IT system and customer service throughout the entire contract period. The service to be procured shall be delivered to the Contracting Authority tested and ready for use. The procurement concerns a framework arrangement to be concluded with a single Supplier, which is valid for four (4) years. The City of Tampere shall decide on and enter into, on behalf of the municipality of Pirkkala, an agreement concerning the framework arrangement with the selected supplier.
