TENDER DESCRIPTION

The city of Salzstadt Staßfurt is responsible for burials in accordance with Section 14(2) of the Act on Bodies, Burial and Cemetery Matters of the State of Saxony-Anhalt (Burial Act of the State of Saxony-Anhalt - BestattG LSA dated 5 February 2002). The local official authority responsible for the place of death shall ensure the burial in accordance with Section 14(2) sentence 2 BestattG LSA if those under an obligation to arrange the burial are not present, not known or cannot be identified and no other party arranges the burial (substitute performance). When determining the expected contract volume for four contract years, statistical evaluations from the previous years were used. These can be used supportively as parameters for a calculation. However, they provide no guarantee that a similar level of demand will arise during the contract period that has been tendered. The contract volume is approximately 15 burials per year. Thus, for the service period of 4 years, an estimated contract scope of approximately 60 burials results.
