TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of this procurement is the provision of night-time services from 17:00 to 07:00 by a private security services company. Given the operational size of Glarus Prison — with accommodation for a maximum of 13 detainees — deployment of a single person on site is considered an appropriate and proportionate solution. In the event of increased need for intervention or any uncertainties regarding the measures to be taken, the person assigned by the provider shall immediately contact the on-call person of the regular care staff and — insofar as provided for — the defined third parties. The contract essentially comprises standby duty with a rest character (sleeping accommodation is available), within which the assigned person must, as required by the circumstances, carry out supervision, security and care tasks and, depending on the situation, perform smaller administrative and operational tasks in accordance with the instructions of the prison management.
