TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Tampere higher education community consists of Tampere University (Tampereen korkeakoulusäätiö sr, TAU) and Tampere University of Applied Sciences (Tampereen ammattikorkeakoulu Oy, TAMK). The facilities and property services provide services to the entire higher education community and are responsible for the premises and properties as well as related services at all campuses of the higher education community. The subject of the procurement is a framework arrangement for cleaning and hygiene services for the facilities and property services (“Contracting Entity”). The services to be procured include, among others, cleaning and hygiene services, services related to the organisation of hygiene care and quality monitoring, as well as development services for cleanliness at the campuses. The framework arrangement determines the procedure for competitive tendering and does not directly lead to an order. The actual procurements are carried out through mini-competitions in accordance with the terms of the framework arrangement and the procurement thresholds.
