TENDER DESCRIPTION

General conditions The motor vehicle participating in performance must be documented as suitable for road traffic: it must have official registration markings and, when the tender is submitted, it must have appropriate technical inspection and a valid roadworthiness certificate by at least 30 April 2027. During the performance periods this condition must be maintained continuously. If the technical inspection is due during the performance period, or for any reason the motor vehicle becomes unfit for road traffic, then the Bidder is obliged to replace the unavailable purpose-built machine with another purpose-built machine that meets the suitability requirements. Since the Bidder’s motor vehicle operates on behalf of the Contracting Authority during the performance period, the Contracting Authority expects that the external parts and surfaces of the vehicle are corrosion-free and continuously coated/covered with paint, and that the driver’s cab and the load-carrying superstructure are provided with a continuously tinted paint coating.
