The state capital Schwerin (LHS), the district Ludwigslust-Parchim (LUP), and various other municipal administrations have completely outsourced the IT operations for their administrations to KSM Kommunalservice Mecklenburg AöR (KSM), which (within the framework of an in-house award) uses the SIS-Schweriner IT and Service Company Ltd. (SIS) as the municipal IT service provider for the provision of services. With over 280 employees, the municipal corporate group consisting of SIS & KSM is the leading municipal IT service provider in West Mecklenburg. The shareholders of SIS are the state capital Schwerin (73.53%) and KSM (26.47%). The client for the tendered services is SIS.
