TENDER DESCRIPTION

The procurement services of the City of Turku requests bids for the rental of indoor air cleaners for use by different service entities of the City of Turku for the period 1.1.2027 (target) - 31.12.2028, after which the agreement may be extended under the original terms by one (1) + one (1) year for the periods 1.1.2029 - 31.12.2029 and 1.1.2030 - 31.12.2030 (Options). The Options concern the Client’s right and not an obligation. The procurement will be carried out as a framework agreement with one (1) Supplier, for which two (2) substitute suppliers will be selected. The substitute suppliers will be used in order of cost-effectiveness, in principle in situations where the operations of the primary Supplier are contrary to the agreement or where it is unable to provide the service, for example due to the Supplier’s delivery capacity, shortage of resources or similar situations. The subject of the procurement is rental indoor air cleaners for public premises. Indoor air cleaners will mainly be rented for schools, day-care centres and office premises.
