TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the procurement is an SMS gateway and text message service that enables the contracting authority to send text messages from different information systems reliably, securely and with dependable operation. The service is used, among other things, for notices, alerts, and appointment and reminder messages. The procurement is carried out as a public procurement in accordance with the Procurement Act (1397/2016). The procurement procedure is an open procedure. The objective is to obtain the overall most economically advantageous SMS service solution that meets the functional, technical, as well as information security and data protection requirements set out in the request for tenders and is suitable for use by the contracting authority. The procured service must include sending SMS messages to Finland and, if necessary, to foreign countries, interfaces to the contracting authority’s information systems, as well as management of use of the service, reporting, technical support and maintenance.
