TENDER DESCRIPTION

The procurement covers an SMS gateway and text message service, which enables the contracting authority to send text messages from various information systems reliably, securely and with operational dependability. The service is used, among other things, for notifications, alerts, and appointment scheduling and reminder messages. The procurement is carried out as a public procurement in accordance with Finnish Procurement Act 1397/2016. The procurement procedure is an open procedure. The aim is to procure the most economically advantageous SMS service solution that meets the functional, technical, and information security and data protection requirements set out in the request for tenders and is suitable for use by the contracting authority. The procured service must include the sending of SMS messages to Finland and, if necessary, abroad, interfaces to the contracting authority’s information systems, as well as the management of the service use, reporting, technical support and maintenance.
