TENDER DESCRIPTION

Sodankylä Municipality (hereinafter also “Contracting Authority” or “Client”) requests tenders for the main contract for the basic improvement of the Sodankylä municipal office and library (construction contract, RU). The site is located at Jäämerentie 1, 99600 Sodankylä. The procurement has been described and must be carried out in accordance with the annexes. With this procurement, the Contracting Authority will re-tender the competition that was suspended by the Contracting Authority on 14.8.2026 for the main/construction contract. There are final procurement decisions for the subcontracts previously tendered that are subordinated to the main contract. NOTE TO TENDERERS The Client requires that tenderers visit the construction site in person with guidance. A representative of the Client must be present at the site familiarisation visit. If a tenderer has already visited the construction site during 2026 earlier, a new site familiarisation visit is not required.
