TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of this part of the public contract is the delivery, implementation, integration and support of a software solution based on artificial intelligence intended to support clinical decision-making when assessing prostate magnetic resonance (MR). The offered software must be a medical device within the meaning of Article 2(1) of Regulation (EU) 2017/745 of the European Parliament and of the Council on medical devices (MDR) and must be duly placed on the market in the European Union. The system must be intended as a clinical decision support (decision-support) tool for the detection, localisation and assessment of lesions suspicious of clinically significant prostate cancer. The aim of implementing the system is in particular: • improving the quality and standardisation of prostate MR assessment, • supporting early detection of clinically significant findings, • reducing variability among assessors, • streamlining the workflow of the radiology department, • supporting multidisciplinary cooperation (radiology – urology).
