TENDER DESCRIPTION
Minimum of 60 GLH, up to a maximum of 16 weeks of delivery (expected minimum duration would be between 2-4 weeks). These Skills Bootcamps are to be delivered at a minimum of Level 2. We would like these Skills Bootcamps to focus on re-skilling and upskilling to provide new entrants into the Construction Sector into Junior roles. All Skills Bootcamps should include the Level 1 Health & Safety in Construction Environment and the CSCS Green Card, including booking the test and applying for the card on the learner's behalf (Including any necessary re-sits to enable learners to achieve). Training to support these individuals to engage with Construction Agencies and also work within the HMRC Construction Industry Scheme. The content of the course should cover one of, as a guide only, roles such as Plant Operator, Groundworks, Utilities, Plastering, Plumbing, Scaffolding, Tiling or another trade where skills shortages can be identified. Under this Lot, the Authority intends to award two separate call-off contracts, each relating to a specific construction trade or skills area.
