The purpose of this procurement is to have a comprehensive species management plan (hereinafter: SMP) drawn up for the designated population centres within the municipality of Heerenveen, with the intended result of obtaining an area exemption for a period of 10 years from the province of Fryslân. With the SMP, the municipality of Heerenveen aims to contribute to the protection of building-dwelling species and at the same time support the sustainability/energy-efficiency of the built environment.
