TENDER DESCRIPTION

Home help services for families with children are arranged as a service under the Social Welfare Act (1301/2014 § 18 a) and home help services mean carrying out or assisting with tasks and activities related to living arrangements, care and supervision, maintaining functional capacity, childcare and upbringing, errands, and other tasks and activities that belong to everyday life. The service is procured mainly on weekdays. Service procurement may occasionally be on weekends and at night. The objective of the activity is to help and support the family in coping with different everyday-life situations. Home help is provided on the basis of an illness, childbirth, injury or another comparable reason that reduces functional capacity, or based on a special family or life situation, to those persons who need help in coping with the above-mentioned tasks and activities. The aim of home help services for families with children is to strengthen the family’s ability to cope in everyday life. The work is intended to support families at an early stage.
