TENDER DESCRIPTION

In the past, both the success and the benefits of Social Work in Schools (SiS) could be demonstrated through various funding instruments of Wetteraukreis. Based on these experiences, Wetteraukreis took new paths with the school year 2017/18 and began the nationwide expansion of SiS and has been completed since the school year 2020/21. Under social planning criteria, 12 school associations were formed in Wetteraukreis, comprising at least one secondary school and the surrounding primary schools. With the current assignment, the continuation of SiS in school associations 1-6 is to be regulated. As a public youth welfare provider, Wetteraukreis supports the educational and upbringing work of its schools by employing social work specialists and methods. This task must be carried out within the scope of the contract to be awarded by recognized independent providers of youth welfare in accordance with Section 75 of Book VIII of the German Social Code (SGB VIII). The main focus of Social Work in Schools is direct work with the students. Cooperation with other parties inside and outside the school system is necessary in a manner tailored to the situation and independent of cases.…
