The listed activities require the use of chemicals of appropriate quality, composition and other specified properties suitable for their intended purpose and conditions of use. Given the diversity and specificity of scientific research and development and laboratory procedures, the relevant chemicals must be of suitable quality and properties for use in higher-education and scientific research laboratory practice and must meet the requirements established in the technical specifications. The requirements particularly relate to composition, degree of purity, quality, concentration, form and size of packaging, and other properties relevant to their intended purpose and the planned method of use.
