Spinning Disk Confocal Microscope

The agreement is valid from the time it is signed by both parties and remains valid until all obligations have been fulfilled. The start and end dates indicated in the header of the agreement document are administrative and do not have legal effect if they contradict the agreement start and agreement periods specified in any clause of the Agreement.

Key milestones or phases include:

• A contract standstill period of at least 10 days after the award decision, after which an agreement will be signed, making it legally binding.
• The Supplier must provide an option for the purchase of a full-service agreement covering a period of one (1) year following the expiry of the warranty period.
• The Supplier guarantees the supply of spare parts, accessories, and support for at least ten (10) years after the expiration of the Agreement.
• Updates of software and hardware concerning personal safety are included at no cost as long as the instrument is in use, provided it is covered by a service contract.

• Software must enable each channel to be toggled between its pre-set display colour and black-and-white in no more than two clicks.
• Software must enable the look-up table showing saturated and underexposed pixels to be toggled between on and off in no more than two clicks.
• System must enable selecting single bandpass emission filters for each channel in SD mode.
• Software must enable imaging in 5 dimensions (x, y, z, lambda, time).
• Software must enable tiled/mosaic imaging, including automatic stitching.
• Software must make it possible to automatically choose random xy positions within each well of a multi-well plate.
• Software must enable smart microscopy without requiring user intervention, involving a pipeline for image acquisition, on-the-fly image analysis, and subsequent image acquisition with different settings based on analysis results.
• NIS-Elements software dongle (with the option to reuse an existing one, or provide an equivalent software with justification).
• Computer included in the System must be provided without a computer screen.
• Computer included in the System must be provided without any additional high-capacity storage drive dedicated to long-term data storage.
• Computer provided as part of the System must include a Swedish keyboard with backlit keys.
• All equipment delivered must be compliant with the Swedish electrical system.
• Electrical connections must be for single phase 220-240 V, or triple phase 400V, 50 Hz.
• System must consist of a microscope equipped with spinning disk confocal and multiplexing capacity.
• System must support imaging in Spinning Disk (SD) confocal mode.
• System must support imaging in Widefield (WF) mode.
• System must be built around a fully motorized inverted microscope stand.
• System must be compatible with the use of air objectives.
• System must be compatible with the use of water objectives.
• System must be compatible with the use of silicone (or equivalent refractive index) objectives.
• System must be compatible with the use of oil objectives.
• In SD mode, the System must enable combined fluorescence and transmitted light imaging without requiring the spinning disk to be removed from the optical path.
• Teledyne Kinetix camera stand (with the option to reuse an existing one, or provide an equivalent camera stand with justification).
• Documentation for the System, operations, software, and maintenance must be provided in English.
• Documentation must be supplied in electronic form; paper form is not accepted.
• Support must be given in English.
