TENDER DESCRIPTION

In the center of the city of Hanau there is the (retail) building of the department store group Galeria S.à r.l. & Co. KG, built in 1957 (formerly Galeria Karstadt Kaufhof GmbH). Following the termination of its use, it is owned by the city of Hanau and is to be developed by it into “Stadthof Hanau”. The building is intended to house retail outlets, catering, exhibition and stay areas, as well as offices. Therefore, the contracting authority intends to modernize and revitalize the Stadthof Hanau building and, for this purpose, to carry out the necessary construction measures. The subject of the procurement procedure is the award of a contract for construction services for the new installation and modification of the sprinkler systems and wall hydrants of Stadthof Hanau (hereinafter “services”).
