TENDER DESCRIPTION

In the centre of the city of Hanau there is the (retail) building erected in 1957 of the department store group Galeria S.à r.l. & Co. KG (formerly Galeria Karstadt Kaufhof GmbH), which after discontinuation of its use is owned by the city of Hanau and is to be developed by it into “Stadthof Hanau”. The building is intended to house retail units, gastronomy, exhibition and event areas, as well as offices. For this reason, the contracting authority intends to modernise and revitalise the Stadthof Hanau building and, for this purpose, to carry out the required construction measures. The subject of this procurement procedure is the award of a contract for construction services for the new installation and modification of the sprinkler systems and wall hydrants of Stadthof Hanau (hereinafter “services”).
